Sport Relief 2012

The Sport Relief weekend took place from Friday 23rd March – Sunday 25th March, and it was absolutely amazing!

On the Friday, workplaces across the land were buzzing with fundraising activity and thousands of kids got active and did their bit in school. In the evening, there was the superb night of Sport Relief telly for everyone to enjoy.

Then Sunday was the big one, with hundreds of thousands of people across the country taking part in the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile.

Whatever you did to support Sport Relief this year, we hope you had a really brilliant time. We’d love to hear all about it, so do send in any pictures you might have from your Mile or any other fundraising you did. You can upload images right here to show off what you did.

Don’t forget to pay in all the money you fantastically raised.

Kids Raising Cash

Even though it’s now been and gone, it’s not too late to get sponsored if you did the Mile with your family.

But even if you missed the Mile, there’s still loads of other ways to get active and raise cash for Sport Relief. Your kids can check out The Brainstormer in Milo’s Warm-Up World to get loads of fantastic fundraising ideas.

We always remind kids to grab a grown up if they want to fundraise and they’ll need you to download sponsorship forms for them.

How To Pay Your Money In

Safety Online

To keep kids safe in Milo’s Warm-Up World, there are no social networking links or chat facilities. Kids can upload their first name and age if they want to make a Sport Relief promise, and they can enter their first name and game score to our high scores table. This content is all moderated and is only used for this purpose.

If kids want to save their progress and character, they can create an account. We don’t request any personal information from them – they simply choose a password and we give them a unique ID number.

Thanks for reading and for going the extra mile with your family this Sport Relief!
