Ideas for getting a reluctant PE teacher involved?!

Hi, I teach English and Citizenship at a secondary school and have helped to organise events for Comic Relief in the past. We normally do a big themed day with an assembly, lessons and a some kind of fun event to raise money. As always, it ends up being just a few of us who organise everything, which has been ok because we have had all the free stuff they sent us and it has tied really well into lessons. As it's Sport Relief this year, I would like to get our PE department involved with the event organisation and I can stick to the lessons! Does anyone have any ideas about how to get a reluctant PE teacher to get involved?!

How our PE department is working with other teachers

I'm probably similar to the PE teacher you're talking about - although I like to think it's because we're so busy! Our school hasn't done Sport Relief before, but having looked at the website, it seems as if lots of the ideas they suggest could fit into an existing activity; like a PE lesson or tournament. We met with a couple of the other subject teachers and decided the PE department will organise the sporting event and fundraising side, and our colleagues will set up the assembly and use some of the teaching materials. We hope to get some local press coverage and it also hits some of our targets for whole-school inclusion etc.
