How well are you doing because im doing a sponsored skydive over in Salibury but i just cant get anyone to sponsor, nice to know that im not the only crazy enough to jump out of a plane

Great idea, but how are you going to measure that you have fallen a full mile, jumping out at a height of 1759 yards and attempting a mile might hurt. :-)
Hope your branch is fully supporting you, get a display board set up in the branches foyer, take a few photos, and get the public behind you.
Personally at Lincoln Branch I will stick to staggering my mile.....slowly
