Moving from Lebanon to Glasgow was a real culture shock as I was the only non-white boy around. I had to join one of the local gangs for my own protection.

But I didn't want to get mixed up in the drink, drugs and crime so I started coming to this Sport Relief funded basketball project instead.

I've made some proper friends here and the project has given me a positive focus on my life and my future.
