Order Stuff T&Cs
'Order Stuff' Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all orders, except Sweatbands for Schools, placed with the Sport Relief 2012 ‘order stuff’ (online shop) pages (in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which apply to the use of this site generally). They also apply to orders for socks made during the Mile registration process. By placing an order on the ‘order stuff’ or ‘mile registration’ pages, you are accepting these terms and conditions.
If you wish to order fundraising kits or schools materials through the ‘order stuff’ pages, you should follow the instructions on the ‘order stuff’ pages. Please note that, other than BFPOs, we cannot deliver to addresses outside the UK and that all fundraising kits and schools materials are subject to availability. If you are planning to fundraise or organise any activity for Sport Relief, please make sure you read the important information in the Serious Bit.
Teachers who would like to order Sweatbands for Schools should read the Sweatbands for Schools Terms and Conditions, below.
We advise you to print and keep a copy of these terms and conditions for your records. Please note that we may make changes to these terms and conditions from time to time, so please check them each time you use the online shop.
Purchasing
To purchase goods from Comic Relief through the online shop, you need to complete the online ordering process. Your order is an offer to buy the goods on these terms and conditions of sale. We will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and your order details. Our email is our acceptance of your offer to buy the goods. Worldpay will process your payment on our behalf.
The supply of goods from the online shop is subject to availability. Whilst we will try to inform you if any goods are unavailable before you place an order, we cannot always do this. If this happens, you will be informed by email and you will either not be charged or be refunded for any unfulfilled items.
Prices
Prices of all goods available on the online shop are quoted and charged in sterling and, where applicable, are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
Forms of Payment
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Comic Relief cannot accept payment by cash, cheque or postal order for orders placed on the online shop.
Delivery
We regret that we are unable to deliver outside of the UK, as the high cost of delivery beyond the UK currently makes such a service uneconomic. Please note that we cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
Parcels will be dispatched either through Royal Mail or Courier, dependent on the order weight and value. All courier deliveries will require a signature upon receipt. A postage and packaging charge (referred to as P&P) is payable on all orders according to the size of the order. This charge will be calculated at the checkout stage of your order, and includes VAT at the current rate.
Cancelling your Order
You have a statutory right to cancel your order by notifying us in writing within 7 working days of delivery.
Your right to cancel does not apply:
- to sweatbands ordered through the Sweatbands for Schools scheme
- to DVDs, CDs, software or other recordings if you have unsealed them;
- to goods you have used and which are therefore not in a saleable condition; or
- to all goods or services, if you are acting in the course of business.
To cancel your order and claim a refund, write to us at the Returns Address below within 7 working days from delivery, heading your letter "Order Cancellation" and providing your name and contact details, your order number and a description of the goods being cancelled. A 'working day' is any day which is not a weekend or a bank holiday.
If you have already received your goods, send them back to the same Returns Address in a saleable condition, using the address label and returns slip provided on the delivery note. We recommend you use registered or recorded delivery to ensure they reach us safely. If you do not return the goods, we have the right to collect the goods from you and charge you for the full cost of doing so.
If you wish to cancel before delivery, please email us immediately at shop@sportrelief.com with your name, address and order number (if the order you wish to cancel was made during your Mile registration, please also put "Mile Registration" in the subject line or at the top of the email). Whilst we will try to cancel the order before it is dispatched, we may be unable to do so. If the goods are delivered you will still need to cancel your order in writing and return the goods as set out above.
We will refund the purchase price to you within 30 days of your cancellation notice (including the original postage and packing we charged you). You are responsible for the costs of returning the goods and this cannot be refunded.
Please note that we are unable to cancel any orders after the 7 working day period unless the goods are faulty (see 'Faulty Goods' below). Your right to cancel is separate from other statutory rights you may have.
Faulty Goods
If any goods ordered from us are faulty, please return them using the address label and returns slip provided on the delivery note as soon as possible to the 'Returns Address' below, securely packaged. If we find that the goods are faulty, and you have returned them within a reasonable period, we will refund the purchase price to you (including the original postage and packing we charged you), and your postage and packaging costs for returning the goods (standard recorded delivery). This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Replacement Goods
Please note that due to campaign time constraints and stock availability, we cannot guarantee to be able to replace any returned item in time for Sport Relief 2012, from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th March 2012.

Please use the returns label included in the delivery note. The address for returning faulty or cancelled goods is:

We do not limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

If you order Sweatbands through Sweatbands for Schools, you agree that:
- Sweatbands must be sold for £1.50 each.
- All money raised from the sale of Sweatbands must be given in full to Comic Relief. During the ordering process, you can choose to pay Comic Relief either a 30p deposit for each Sweatband in advance and £1.20 after Sport Relief, or the full £1.50 in advance. However, whichever method you choose, you may not deduct any costs from the money raised (including the processing, postage and packaging charges).
- If people give more than £1.50 for each Sweatband, the additional amount must be dealt with as donations received on behalf of Comic Relief. All donations must be sent to Comic Relief with the proceeds from the sale of the Sweatbands.
- Each person who receives Sweatbands under this scheme agrees that any sales of Sweatbands by that person are made on behalf of, and as an unpaid agent for, Comic Relief Limited, a subsidiary of Comic Relief.
- Each person who receives Sweatbands under this scheme is responsible for (a) ensuring that Comic Relief receives as quickly as practicable after the event the balance required from all Sweatbands ordered and any accompanying donations and (b) disposing of all Sweatbands for which proceeds are not received so they cannot be reused.
- We regret we are unable to refund deposits for (or take back) unsold Sweatbands.
- On all materials supporting or publicising sales of the Sweatbands you must state: "At least 75p from the sale of each Sweatband goes to Sport Relief, an initiative of Comic Relief, registered charity 326568 (England/Wales); SC039730 (Scotland)."
- Sweatbands ordered before 19th December 2011 should be delivered by 13th January 2012. After this date you should allow 10 working days for orders to arrive. Sweatbands for Schools closes on Friday 16th March 2012. Order forms received after this date will not be processed and your cheque will not be cashed.
- P&P includes VAT at the current rate. VAT number 773865187.
- Orders are subject to availability.
