Lemar and Shephard come out fighting for Sport Relief

12th February 2008
UK soul star Lemar and GMTV presenter Ben Shephard are going head to head for Sport Relief Celebrity Boxing, to be shown on BBC ONE as part of Sport Relief Weekend on Friday 14 March.

The heat is on as the pair start an intensive training programme under the wing of two of Britain's best known boxing stars. Olympic medallist and Lightweight boxing star Amir Khan is mentoring Lemar, 29, while his opponent is being guided by Ricky Hatton, widely regarded as one of the best pound for pound boxers in the world.

With the pre match talk already underway, Shephard, 32, said "When it comes down to it, Lemar might be taller than me, he might have a longer reach than me, but that just means he's got further to fall!"

With both stars weighing in at 83lbs, it's all up for grabs as the battle commences.

Who’ll become champion? Make sure you tune in on Friday 14th March to find out!
