West End Stars have good run for Sport Relief

Stars from the West End’s best loved musicals warmed up more than just their vocal chords yesterday when they got ready for the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile.
Under the portico of the Actors Church in Covent Garden, Sound of Music sensation Connie Fisher took centre stage alongside Susan McFadden (Sandy) and Sean Mulligan (Kenickie) from Grease as well as the stars of Chicago, Billy Elliot, Avenue Q, The Phantom of the Opera, We Will Rock You and MAMMA MIA!
In a musical first, characters from the big West End shows joined forces to encourage everyone to sign up for the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile. Rising star Connie said, "Getting involved with Sport Relief is so easy! Now we’ve done our bit all you need to is to sign up and get sponsored."
