The Cardiff Mile
Expect a fun filled day at Cardiff’s Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile! We look forward to welcoming you and your family and friends, with a day to remember including a huge range of entertainment and sporty activities to look forward to. There’s the chance to try your hand at all kinds of sports or get inspired with demonstrations from local clubs, but if that’s a bit too energetic after your Mile, there’s always music from local bands to enjoy and the chance for a little celebrity spotting. The BBC TV film crew will be joining us too, so get into your best fancy dress outfit and let’s show everyone that Cardiff really is the place to be! See you there!

You will be given a start time or, where possible, we'll give you a selection of start times to choose from.
In order to ensure that the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Miles are safe and fun it hasn't always been possible to find courses that are exactly 1, 3 or 6 miles long. At Cardiff they are 1 mile, 3 miles and 5.92 miles long, depending on which distance you choose.
Entertainment info
Live music from local bands will provide a great atmosphere all around the Mile route and our group warm-up session will really get you motivated! We’re organising a great range of entertainment and sporty activities throughout the day to make sure the whole family enjoys themselves. See you at Cardiff Bay!
