The Glasgow Mile
Glasgow Milers – get ready for a brilliant day! We can’t wait to welcome you at historic Glasgow Green for a fun-filled time at the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile. Why not invite your friends and family along? To make sure everyone has a great time, we’re laying on a wide range of sporting activities to try out, with the help of local clubs. There’ll also be a great atmosphere provided by the musicians and entertainers that we’ve invited along to make sure you have a day to remember. The BBC TV crew are joining us too, so get your best fancy dress gear on and stand out from the crowd. See you there!

You will be given a start time or, where possible, we'll give you a selection of start times to choose from.
In order to ensure that the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Miles are safe and fun it hasn't always been possible to find courses that are exactly 1, 3 or 6 miles long. At Glasgow they are 1 mile, 3.04 miles and 6.09 miles long, depending on which distance you choose.
Entertainment info
Local musicians are tuning up to entertain you around the Mile route and there are some amazing sporty activities lined up for you to try your hand at too. Get ready to spot some celebrities and don’t forget to complete your Mile in all of the excitement! The range of entertainment provided may be subject to change.

Get there by car: Glasgow Green is south east of the city centre and very accessible by car and public transport.
