Manchester really is the place to be for the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile! Join us in raising money to help others while you enjoy an incredible day out with your family and friends. We’re working hard to make sure you have day to remember and feel proud of, with loads of sporty activities including rugby, tennis, netball, cycling and football (phew!) that you can catch live demonstrations of, or try your hand at. On top of all that there’ll be entertainment laid on throughout the day including local bands and performers. Let’s hope the band on stilts make it in one piece! So register now and we look forward to greeting you on Sunday 16th March.
You can register on the day for this event.
Please arrive at: 3:21 PM
Albert Square.
You will be given a start time or, where possible, we'll give you a selection of start times to choose from.
This is a great day for trying out new sports – we’ve lined up squash, athletics, cycling, boxing, hockey, rugby, football, tennis and netball activities for you to enjoy. And if that isn’t enough to keep you occupied, why not check out some of the local bands and entertainers, while keeping your eyes peeled for celebs. And make sure you stand out from the crowd so the BBC film crew can find you – fame at last?! The range of entertainment provided may be subject to change.
The fee helps to cover the cost of staging your Mile event - so make sure you get sponsored to take part!
