The Norwich Mile
There’s a fun-filled day out ahead at the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile in Norwich! We’re looking forward to welcoming you with an exciting line up of entertainment and activities. We’re sure you’ll have a brilliant day to remember and you’ll leave with a real sense of achievement too. If you’re in need of a relaxing time after your Mile, there’s always the great atmosphere provided by local musicians and performers to sit back and enjoy. Keep your eyes open for celebrity spotting and if you want the BBC TV crew to pick you out of the crowd, make sure you have your best fancy dress outfit at the ready!

You will be given a start time or, where possible, we'll give you a selection of start times to choose from.
In order to ensure that the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Miles are safe and fun it hasn't always been possible to find courses that are exactly 1, 3 or 6 miles long. At Norwich they are 1.05 miles, 2.85 miles and 5.55 miles long, depending on which distance you choose.
Entertainment info
We’re working hard and lining up a range of entertainers and activities to make sure your Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile is a day to remember. Performances from local musicians will provide a great atmosphere and our lively group warm-up session is bound to get your Mile off to a flying start! We’re looking forward to seeing you at St Peters Street! The range of entertainment provided may be subject to change.

Get there by bus: From Norwich bus station take a 5 minute walk to the start point.
Get there by car: Follow the signs to the city centre from all major routes. Ample car parking is available in the centre, close to the start point.
Get there by foot: The start point is on St Peter Street by the market and in front of City Hall.
