The Swansea Mile
Get ready for a great day out at Swansea’s Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile! We look forward to welcoming you at The National Waterfront Museum and making sure you enjoy an incredible day to remember with family and friends. We’re lining up loads of sporty activities with cheerleading, live demonstrations and the chance to try your hand at a new sport or two. There’ll also be entertainment throughout the day, including jazz and samba bands, stilt walkers and lots of other local dance and music groups still to be confirmed. Just make sure you don’t get so caught up in the excitement that you forget to complete your Mile! The BBC crew will be joining us too, so get your best fancy dress outfit at the ready and we’ll try to spot you on TV amongst all of the celebs!

You will be given a start time or, where possible, we'll give you a selection of start times to choose from.
In order to ensure that the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Miles are safe and fun it hasn't always been possible to find courses that are exactly 1, 3 or 6 miles long. At Swansea they are 1.02 miles, 2.93 miles and 5.8 miles long, depending on which distance you choose.
Entertainment info
Tons of sporty activities will keep you busy throughout the day, with the chance to try out some sports – traditional and the more unusual – for yourself. As if that wasn’t enough, as well as the Mile challenge itself, the line-up of musicians and other performers are sure to give the day an amazing atmosphere. So sign up now! Get there by bus: From Swansea Quadrant Bus Station: Turn left (east) on Wellington Street and then right (south) on Albert Row. At Oystermouth Road, turn left (east). The National Waterfront Museum is on your right.
Get there by car: From the East use M4 Junction 42. From the West use M4 Junction 47. From other points North use M4 Junctions 43-46.
Get there by foot: Go to; ‘www.visitswanseabay.com’ and type ‘city map’ in the search box.
