The Prestonpans Mile
The Prestonpans Mile is being hosted by Preston Village Cricket Club. The aim is simple - enjoy your day out and raise money to help others. The Mile route is set out within Preston Village Cricket Ground, Polwarth Park, Prestonpans and is a circular route around the ground. Enter the Mile, get sponsored and make a real day of it!

Meeting point
There will be a meeting point within the ground on Preston Road. Follow signs on the day.

You will be given a start time or, where possible, we'll give you a selection of start times to choose from.

Get there by bus: The venue is serviced directly by the No 26 Lothian bus on the Edinburgh to Tranent route. There is a bus stop directly outside the ground on Preston Road.
Get there by car: Travelling from Edinburgh: Exit the A1 at the Meadowmill roundabout, signposted Prestonpans. At the second roundabout head left towards Prestonpans and travel towards the Railway station. After passing the station, turn first right onto Station Road and first right again onto Preston Road. The Cricket Ground is situated behind the Mercat Gait Centre.
Get there by foot: The ground is situated on Preston Road, Prestonpans. The ground is located at the rear of the Mercat Gait Centre.
