Early Years Showcase

See what early years groups across the UK did to have a fantastic time and raise cash for Sport Relief 2010.

Little Local Legends

The children and staff at Victoria Private Day Nursery became stars for the day when the group’s fantastic fundraising featured in their local paper, the Tamworth Herald.

With their 1-mile walk through the town, plus a tea party with fun games and a mini disco, they raised over £800!

Culchtech Private Day Nursery, Warrington

Children at Culcheth Private Day Nursery, in Warrington, are doing ten laps of their playground, dressed from head to toe in red and white.

Not to be outdone, the staff are also getting involved by doing 6 miles at their local Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile on Sunday 25th March.

The Premier Nursery, Merseyside

Children from the Premier Nursery, in Merseyside, are doing a ‘sponsored toddle’ every day in the week leading up to the Sport Relief Weekend.

Then, on the Friday, all the staff and children will be dressing up in sports clothes and having a tea party.

Riverbank Nursery, Ayr

Riverbank Nursey, Ayr are getting good and ready to set off on a sponsored mile-long walk along the coast to help raise cash for Sport Relief 2012.

To keep their spirits up, they’ve invited parents to come along too – and everyone will be doing it in fancy dress!

Little Red Mile Raisers

The children at Hickory Dickory Dots in Barton-le-Clay dressed in red and carried red balloons around their village. Accompanied by parent helpers their sponsored ‘Red Mile’ raised a brilliant £400!
