St. Paul’s Catholic Primary School, Leeds

Year 6 pupils from St. Paul’s Catholic Primary School took to the ice and enjoyed some winter fun to show their support for Sport Relief.

The kids’ last chance to get their skates on at Ice Cube in Millennium Square before it closes for the spring and gets ready to host the start line for the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile in Leeds on Sunday 25th March.

Borrowdale Church of England Primary School, Cumbria

Borrowdale Church of England Primary School in Cumbria won’t just be raising cash for Sport Relief 2012, they’ll be helping to raise awareness of the importance of rural schools in isolated communities.

All the pupils in the valley will do a walk with the local pensioners, including one who is 86 years young, around the stunningly beautiful course in Borrowdale, Cumbria.

They’re hoping to show how important it is to make links between younger and older members of the community, particularly in isolated, rural areas.

Albany Science College, Chorley

The whole entire school at Albany Science College, Chorley is taking part in a massive Zumbathon to help raise cash for Sport Relief 2012.

The pupils will take over the main hall for the day, grouped into their house teams. Everyone will follow an instructor on stage – and to make it extra fun, all members of staff taking part will go at the front of the class, so everyone can see their moves!

Cooking Up A Storm

In 2010, the staff and pupils at Stoke Newington School in London made healthy Sport Relief treats in class and sold them to their fellow students.
Together with a sports event and a non-uniform day they raised an incredible £800!

School Teams Up With Bolton Wanderers

Beaumont Primary School teamed up local football team, Bolton Wanderers, for a day of fun filled Sport Relief fundraising in 2010.

Everyone paid to play and, with penalty shootouts, tenpin bowling and a sponsored keepy uppy challenge, they scored a staggering £2,266!
