Set around College Green and taking in the magnificent Bristol Cathedral, the Bristol Mile promises to be a fantastic, fun day out for all the family.

Milers can choose to do 1, 3 or 6 Miles, so whether you are a seasoned athlete or you're just in it to have a brilliant time, take part and help raise loads of money to help change people's lives both in the UK and the world's poorest countries.

So come on, get your friends, family and workmates involved, and enter the Bristol Mile now!

College Green is a 15 minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads train station.

Get there by bus:

The majority of City Centre buses drop off at The Centre which is a five minute walk from College Green.

Get there by car:

Please follow signs for Bristol City Centre. The main roads into College Green are the A4 and the A4018.

Get there by foot:

Located at the bottom of Park Street, College Green is a two minute walk from The Centre and Bristol Waterfront.

All along the route and around College Green, there will be new and exciting sports to try out, as well as music and entertainment for absolutely everyone there.

From face painting and balloon modelling, rowing and BMX challenges, to circus skill workshops and a bungee run! With all this and some amazing music thrown into the mix it promises to be a brilliant day for all the family at the Bristol Sport Relief Mile!

Bristol Rovers has a goal for Sport Relief 2010

Sport Relief is back and bigger than ever and Bristol Rovers has already pledged its support by challenging all true Gasheads fans to get sporty, have fun and raise cash by entering the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile in Bristol on Sunday 21st March. Both Bristol Rovers, and competitors Colchester United, will don the official Sport Relief t-shirt, designed by the Beckham family, whilst limbering up to go head to head on 27th February. Even the Pirates’ mascot, Captain Black Arab will be modeling his very own one-off, size 6XL Sport Relief t-shirt.

Sport Relief goes on tour at BBC Big Screens

The Sport Relief Big Screen Roadshows got off to a great start at the weekend, with hundreds of people turning out to put their sporting knowledge to the test with the special Question of Sport for Sport Relief quiz game. Bristol played host on Saturday 27th February, with a great turn out of locals trying their hand at the game. Local ice hockey team the Bristol Pitbulls were on hand to stop a couple of rogue Welsh saboteurs in their attempts to prevent Bristol taking the top score. The people of Bristol showed off their sporting knowledge with a whopping average score of 6.7 points. Cardiff is currently in second place with 6.2 points, with Norwich bringing up the rear with an average score of six points.
