Chorley Borough Council invites you to the fantastic and recently refurbished Astley Park, to do your Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile. On the day you will have the chance to see the 'Jewel in Chorley's Crown' - Astley Hall Museum & Art Gallery, one of Britain's best houses. So enter the Mile, get sponsored and make a real day of it!

Get there by train:
There's a train & bus interchange in the town centre, which is approximately a 5 minutes bus journey or a 15 minutes walk from the venue.
Get there by bus:
Catch the C8 Stagecoach service from Chorley Bus & Train Interchange, which drops you near the park.
Get there by car:
From Junction 8 of the M61, follow signs to Chorley / Astley Hall. The park & hall are located off Hallgate, Astley Village. It is advisable to park in Chorley Town Centre, with disabled access within Hallgate car park.
Get there by foot:
From Chorley Bus & Train interchange, proceed down to Union Street, walk to the top and you will see Chorley Town Hall. Turn right, cross the road and you will see the Park gates. The meeting point is 3/4 mile down the path.

The day will have some fun activities for friends and family to take part in and help raise extra cash for Sport Relief. Conditions permitting, there will be a warm up to get you ready. Special guests will start the race and wish you well on your way. You can also visit Cafe Ambio, serving excellent hot and cold food
