So as the last remaining Milers cross the finish line, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s taken part in The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile today. More than 165,000 of you went the distance at hundreds of Mile events across the whole of the UK. From babies to great-grandparents, in fancy dress and in fancy sportswear, you’ve done the nation proud and we can’t thank you enough. All that’s left to do now is to get your last remaining sponsors and pay in your money as soon as you can so that we can put it to great work changing lives. Thank you again – you absolutely rock!

News flash! We've just heard that the Hula Hoops Hoopathon has officially broken the World Record for the most number of people simultaneously hula hooping for 2 minutes! In total, 1388 hula hoopers managed to keep their hoops going for the required length of time across the 16 Flagship Mile events. Congratulations to everyone who took part!

Back at the start line one final time - Eddie has done everything he can today to spur the London Milers on. This time, he's joined by Absolute Radio presenter Christian O'Connell, children's TV presenter Kirsten O'Brien, kid's favourite Mr Maker and lots and lots of tiny tots.

Up at the Inverness Mile, local MP Danny Alexander has set off on his run and Jillian Matheson, a truly inspiring wheelchair participant, has almost finished doing the 6 mile route.
