A host of celebrities are preparing to go the extra mile for Sport Relief 2012 by taking part in the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile.
Joining the nation will be models Lizzie Cundy and Tamara Eccleston, TV presenters Lorraine Kelly, Andy Akinwolere, Jeff Brazier, Suzi Perry and Andrew Castle, Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills, newsreader Mark Austin, Actor Tom Ellis, choreographer Arlene Phillips, actress Kara Tointon, pop star Joe McElderry, kids’ favourites Dick & Dom and fresh from the Den, businessman Theo Paphitis .
That’s just for starters.
Many professional sportsmen and women have also secured their spot on the start line including double Olympic gold medallist James Cracknell, Olympic silver medallist Sharon Davies, former England footballer Mark Bright and boxers Danny Price, Enzo Maccannelli and David Price.
All these famous faces, and many more, will be doing 1, 3 or 6 miles at the flagship Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile events that are taking place all over the UK on Sunday 25th March.
The fun-filled, family-friendly, events will enable the nation to take to the streets all over the country and be part of the UK’s biggest ever year of sport.
