In a completely new event of its kind, the worlds of football and music are all set to collide in a big way for
United Relief Live: The Big Red Family Day Out.
On 1st May 2010, a host of famous faces, massive music acts and football legends will come together for a one-off star-studded event to raise money for Sport Relief and Manchester United Foundation.
From 2pm, the iconic football ground Old Trafford will be the setting for a musical extravaganza featuring some of the nation’s best chart-topping pop acts. Performing live will be The Saturdays, Tony Christie, Tinchy Stryder and The Hoosiers.
The musical feast will warm up the crowd before a celebrity football match between a Manchester United XI and The Rivals.
The extra-special game will involve Manchester United legends and celebrities competing against some of their greatest rivals and will give supporters a truly rare chance to see some of their heroes back in the shirt.

All profits from ticket sales (after VAT and event costs) will be donated and shared equally between the Manchester United Foundation and Sport Relief (estimated to be at least 50% of ticket price).
