Gareth Thomas on bike

Pioneering rugby star Gareth Thomas took on an epic 500 mile bike ride to deliver the Sports Personality of the Year trophy in time to be presented to this year’s winner. He was helped along the way by friends who cycled alongside him in a four-seater bike. All to raise money for Sport Relief and fight against the stigma surrounding some of the biggest issues in the world today.

DAY 1: (Monday): Cardiff – Ludlow

DAY 2: (Tuesday): Ludlow – Warrington

DAY 3: (Wednesday): Warrington – Kendal

DAY 4: (Thursday): Kendal – Gretna Green

DAY 5: (Friday): Gretna Green – Whitburn

DAY 6: (Saturday): Whitburn – Monifieth

DAY 7: (Sunday): Monifieth - Aberdeen
